International Trade

International trade is important to a regional economy as it exposes companies to higher levels of competition, driving innovation and resulting in.

Trade of goods and services

Services as well as goods are traded across international borders. Trade has become part and parcel of daily life - Britain is fuelled by Russian gas, Russians eat American wheat and America use marketing services from Britain.

Competition and co-operation
